Rene Marie Russo is an American actress filmmaker and former supermodel. In addition to her graceful beauty, her continued success in the competitive film industry is testament to her abilities as a performer. She began her career modeling in the 1970s and soon became one of the most well-known models. She studied theatre and acting towards the beginning of the decade, before starring on stages in Los Angeles, and other parts of California. Russo first appeared on TV on ABCs Sable as Eden Kendell, in 1987. In the following year, she played Tom Berengers lover in Major League. Rose Namajunas is one of the female athletes with the highest success in the UFC. She began her professional career as an amateur athlete performing various regional competitions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And after that, she signed with Ultimate Fighting Championships. Her accomplishments both in and out of the Octagon has made her an international brand after she became a member of the UFC. Namajunas' family is Lithuanian as was her birthplace there on the 29th June, 1992. Rose participated in many games as a youngster such as basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships was signed by her when she was 18 years old and went on to take home two fights by submission. Dana White noticed this and in December 2014, aged 22, she signed her for a fight as a strawweight with UFC. Rose has experienced highs & lows during her career. She has always come out the winner. Rose took on Carla Esparza on April 15 in 2015 for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose defeated Esparza via a technical knockout in less than three minutes of the Round One. Rose not only got the title, but also was named Fighter Of The Night. Rose also made MMA history by winning this fight because she became the first woman to compete for a champion title within any organization of note. After this win, Namajunas was able to have a number of more successful fights including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC in the wake of these wins .
